A Girl With A Tale From The South

Today I have Maria from Tales From The South on the blog!

This girl is a peach. A very bold and daring one at that which is why I love her. Take for instance the day she chopper her hair off. A lot of hair off. Girl has guts. Or maybe the fact that she's picking up and heading to Italy this summer for a few weeks. Hello jealous over here. She also ran a marathon which you all know has never happened in my life and probably never, ever will so she takes the bold cake for that one too.

She's here to answer some of the questions that I answered earlier on in the week just because I had so much fun doing them and thought she would too. Enjoy!

---------------------------------

If you could only live in one place for the rest of your life where would it be?
I'd have to say NYC, even though I've never lived there, something about the fast pace of the city and how there's always something to do makes me want to pack up and move at any moment. Not gonna lie, I'd miss the food from here though. Nothing beats Louisiana food.

What is the most important piece of blog advice you would give?
Stay true to yourself. There are so many people who are trying to copy the 'big blogs' out there and you can totally tell. I'd rather read a person who posts 3x's a week about the stupid things that they get into with friends or do on the weekends than someone who posts 5x's a week but doesn't say anything.

Sweet or salty?
Salty. All the way. I used to work in a bakery and I ate SO many sweets when I was there that I kind of got a little bit sick of it. Every now and then I love sweets, but I'd prefer salty any day.

When your alarm goes off in the morning what is the first thing you do?
Snooze. Multiple times. I live in the sorority house and have a roommate so I really need to really get better about not snoozing and waking the fuck up on time.

What would you say is the quirkiest quality about you?
I know a pretty good about computers and I kind of love puzzle games. I work with ITS, the only girl in our department, and so I work with all guys. It's funny because we can talk about some of the things they call 'nerdy' like the board games and the tv shows that they watch. I've learned a lot about Magic (a card game), World of Warcraft, League of Legends, and other sci-fi tv shows. I became obsessed with the show Firefly really quick.

You can find out more about her over here on her blog.
